Types Of Trailer Hitches We Install
We install all types and classes of hitches for businesses and residents of Chandler Arizona. The hitches we install include but are not limited to:
Receiver Hitches Class 1-5
Receiver Hitches
Bumper Hitches – A bumper hitch has a 2″ by 2″ tube opening. These hitches are installed on the vehicle’s bumper. Each vehicle and hitch has a maximum load capacity that should be followed. These are light duty hitches only.
Front Mount Hitches – Front mounted hitches are especially useful for carrying cargo on the front of your vehicle, or useful in towing your vehicle behind an RV. They have the same 2″ by 2″ opening and are rated for about 5,000 lbs.
Specialized Hitch Installation
The hitches in this section are specifically engineered for heavy duty towing.
Weight Distribution Hitches
A weight distribution hitch helps spread the tongue weight through your vehicle better. These hitches are attached into the tube opening for class 3 and up. Spring bars in the distribution hitch help compensate for the sagging that heavy trailers cause on some vehicles. When the weight is properly distributed it maintains your steering and traction.
Gooseneck Hitch Installation
A gooseneck hitch is a special type of hitch used with gooseneck trailers. These trailers and hitches work together to place the weight of the trailer just in front of the rear axle of the truck. This makes it so the full weight of the trailer is distributed more evenly to all 4 tires. A gooseneck hitch typically has a load capacity of around 30,000 lbs (GTW). Gooseneck hitches are a great option for heavier loads and most designs have a flip over hide ball hitch.
5th Wheel Hitch Installation
A fifth wheel hitch is typically used to tow recreational trailers or larger loads. These hitches typically have tow limits of about 16,000 to 25,000 lbs. The hitch assembly is generally installed just forward of the rear axle to offer the same distribution of weight that gooseneck hitches offer. The design mimics the kingpin hitch design that many semi trucks have and can absorb some of bumps on the road.
Pintle Hitch Type Installation
When you are looking for maximum towing capacity the pintle hitch is the maximum heavy duty hitch type. With an incredible 60,000 lbs of towing capacity it makes for a hitch assembly which is over most consumer truck towing capacity and is popular with heavy duty industrial equipment towing or agriculture purposes.

Companion Sliders

A Companion Slider is an accessory for fifth wheel hitches that make it possible to move the position of the hitch. Moving the hitch forward or backward in the truck bed improves your towing or maneuverability and can be removed when not in use.
Front Mount Receiver Hitches

A front mounted hitch is great for taking your car or suv with you on your road trip. When you park your RV in many places across the country there are narrow roads and limited parking. Having your personal vehicle with you for day trips is the perfect way to make your vacations more fun!
Towbars

A tow bar connects your tow vehicle to your RV. It is a simple yet secure hitch that helps safely tow your vehicle. Contact points from the bar attach to the front of your tow vehicle. Some additional hardware helps provide rock solid towing.
Trailer Hitches

The most common towing accessory yet many new trucks are not equipped with them. If your truck doesn’t have one Cliff’s will install your receiver hitch and get you a stinger so you can use your truck to do what it does best, work and play!
Gooseneck Hitches

A Gooseneck Hitch is your serious choice for heavy duty towing. A lot of livestock and agricultural trailers use this type of hitch to safely distribute weight. These hitches are also easy to hook up and unhook when you are done. Best of all most designs allow for the hitch ball to be removed or flipped over and hidden when not in use, leaving your truck bed empty.
Weight Distribution Hitches
Using a weight distribution hitch makes it possible to safely carry heavier loads. These spring loaded towing hitches compensate for the sag that sometimes happens when the trailer makes the back of the truck too low. This improves steering, braking, and helps cut down or eliminate trailer sway.
