These hitches are hitch attachments that are able to be inserted into a class 3, 4, or 5 tube opening. Distribution hitches use spring bars to distribute the weight. Fifth wheel hitches are heavy duty hitches that are mostly used with pickup trucks. These hitches have a towing weight limit of 16-25,000 lbs. and are mostly used for towing heavy loads like car haulers or campers. PINTLE HITCH TYPE INSTALLATION

Pintle hitches use a hook-and-loop mechanism and are made up of a lunette eye that is secured on the trailer, while the hook is mounted on the vehicle. The towing capacity of pintle hitches is 60,000 lbs. (GTW) with a max tow capacity of 60,000 lbs. More importantly, It should be noted that this will vary from model to model and will be determined based on the type of vehicle.
